The WORKSHOP 2024 focused on advanced remote sensing (RS) methods and their applications in environmental monitoring and data analysis. Participants became familiar with modern sensors and technologies, including LiDAR, chemical sensors, and passive optical systems. Additionally, advanced data processing methods were presented, such as the use of artificial intelligence in object detection.
The program included expert lectures on the use of ALS structural and spectral metrics, the potential of terrestrial photogrammetry, and the processing of hemispherical images using CanopyPhotos. The practical part featured a drone flight simulation and a presentation of digital twins of nature, which enable precise modeling of forest ecosystems.
The goal of the workshop was to provide participants with up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in RS and create a space for professional discussion between researchers and industry experts.
