The UAV Forestry Workshop 2025 marked the 10th anniversary of the event and took place on 14–15 October 2025 at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. The workshop brought together experts from academia, public institutions, and the private sector to present current developments in UAV technology, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence for forestry and environmental monitoring
The program covered practical applications of UAV photogrammetry and LiDAR, forest and vegetation monitoring, wildfire applications, 3D data processing, and the use of machine learning for the analysis of image and point-cloud data. Special attention was given to practical experience with modern sensors and to the integration of UAV data with other remote-sensing technologies.
As the 10th edition of the UAV Forestry Workshop, the event also provided an opportunity to reflect on the development of UAV technologies in forestry over the past decade and to discuss future trends and applications.
